Second Semester SRC Calendar of Activities for 2017/2018

The Students Representative Council of Regional Maritime University has released it’s timetable of activities for the second semester of the 2017/2018 academic year.

The second semester runs from January through to early June.

Here’s what you should know about the activities scheduled for the second semester.

DAY 1, SATURDAY [10TH MARCH,2018]

Health walk: Aerobics and distribution of R.M.U Brochure
Venue: Nungua Municipality
Attire: SRC WEEK 2018 Shirt Or RMU Paraphernalia

 

DAY 2, SUNDAY [11TH MARCH,2018]

RMU stands in worship

Venue: GraceLand
Attire: A touch of white

 

DAY 3, MONDAY [12TH MARCH,2018]


1. Grand Durbar/ official opening ceremony of the SRC week celebration

Venue: Parade Ground
2. Bonfire and Jama
Attire: Native / Traditional wear

 

DAY 4, TUESDAY [13TH MARCH,2018]

1. Rep your School ( eating competition, dining hall session, Inter-Co & Jama)

2. Live Radio Jam ( Filla Night, Song Resquest, Live Broadcasting )
Venue: Chief Ayitey’s Front Accomodation
Attire: Alma mater uniform, paraphernalia or old fashion wear

 

DAY 5, WEDNESDAY [14TH MARCH,2018]
1. Your Story My Inspiration

2. Pals’ Night
Venue: African Unity Hall
Attire: SRC Lacoste or Paraphernalia

 

DAY 6, THURSDAY [15TH MARCH,2018]

1. Time out with the fisher folks
Venue: Nungua Municipal
Attire: SRC paraphernalia

2. Nationality food bazaar
Venue:Fore Court of the Back Accomodation
Attire: country Jersey or Paraphernalia

 

DAY 7, FRIDAY [16TH MARCH,2018]

1. Mr. RMU (RMU’s strongest)
Venue: Parade Grounds

2. Miss RMU, Dinner and Awards Night
Venue: RMU Lawn Tennis Court

 

DAY 8, SATURDAY [17th march,2018]

Newsman
Emmanuel Paa Kwesi Arthur (Newsman RMU) is a Marine Electrical/Electronics Engineering student of Regional Maritime University. Paa Kwesi is a passionate student activist and advocate and is always on the move to ensure the needs of students are prioritised in their institution. He likes to listen to go out, listen to music, DJ, and commentates for a local radio station in his free time.
